چکیده

Finger millet [Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn] is mostly cultivated in the arid and semi-arid regions of India. In this study, 11 finger genotypes were evaluated for six traits a randomized complete block design with three replications at Ranichauri (E1), Dehradun (E2) Pantnagar (E3) Uttarakhand during kharif 2018 2019. The analysis variance revealed significant variation among due to (G), environments (E) G×E interaction (GEI) effects. environment contributed 37.3%, 38.6%, 58.2%, 65.5%, 21.0% 76.9% total days 50% flowering, plant height, number tillers, heads, fingers grain yield, respectively. Grain yield exhibited crossover-type GEI effect high environmental proportion. mean over locations was ranged from 16.9 (E1) 38.8 q/ha (E3), whereas genotypic stretched 22.7 (PF5) 34.3 (PF8). GGE biplot graphical identified mega environments, best PF5, PF6 PF2 E1; PF8 E2; PF10 PF11 E3. Based on hypothetical ideal genotype, as genotype owing stability locations. ranking based would be follows: PF8>PF10>PF3>PF7>PF2>PF1>PF11>PF4>PF9>PF6>PF5. location had discriminating ability representativeness considered selecting high-yielding stable

AMMI Analysis of Stability and Adaptability of Late Duration Finger Millet (Eleusine coracana) Genotypes

Multilocation yield trials on late duration (106-125 days) finger millet genotypes were conducted under early and late transplanting at Bhubaneswar and early direct-sown condition at Berhampur for three years 2004-2006, during kharif season. G×E interaction analysis of grain yield in AMMI (Additive Main and Multiplicative Interaction) model showed differential interaction of the genotypes in th...

Value added products from nutri-cereals: Finger millet (Eleusine coracana)

Finger millet also known as ragi in India is one of the important cereals occupies highest area under cultivation among the small millets. Finger millet is comparable to rice with regard to protein (6-8%) and fat (1-2%) and is superior to rice and wheat with respect to mineral and micronutrient contents. It is a major source of dietary carbohydrates for a large section of society. Additionally ...

Genetic variability and relationships among thirty genotypes of finger millet (Eleusine coracana L. Gaertn.) using RAPD markers.

Ragi or finger millet (Eleusine coracana L.) is an important crop used for food, forage, and industrial products. It is distributed in tropical and temperate regions of the world. The germplasm identification and characterization is an important link between the conservation and utilization of plant genetic resources. Traditionally, species or varieties identification has relied on morphologica...

Characterization of Antifungal Natural Products Isolated from Endophytic Fungi of Finger Millet (Eleusine coracana).

Finger millet is an ancient African-Indian crop that is resistant to many pathogens including the fungus, Fusarium graminearum. We previously reported the first isolation of putative fungal endophytes from finger millet and showed that the crude extracts of four strains had anti-Fusarium activity. However, active compounds were isolated from only one strain. The objectives of this study were to...
